Will be exhibited during Dementia action week 20th-26th May 2019.
During Dementia Action Week Katryn will be running two FREE workshops to share how she has brought her art practice into caring for people who live with a dementia.
Find out how she has reconfigured the mundane into delightful fortuitous compilations of 'In-Articulation' and raised the status of the perfectly imperfect amongst many other things.
Monday 20th May 10:30am – 12:30pm
Thursday 3th May 6pm - 8pm
The aim of this clinic and workshops
are to contribute to offering another way to live positively with a Dementia. To work together to counter the negative
attitudes surrounding a Dementia which could result to living longer, healthier
and more fulfilling and contented lives with each other.
This Clinic is about living with a Dementia in a light hearted and caring way. It is for anyone who is curious to find out and explore ways to be mindfully liberated from the constraints of living with daily house chores. It is about keeping active in the home, avoiding boredom, muddling up things, absent words, unrecognising things and losing things by embracing and imbedding attitudes and approaches such as Surrealism and Dadaism.

ridiculously joyful adventures. Those
who wish to seek the extraordinary in the mundane or those who desire to be liberated
from order and predictability in unusual and non-rational ways.
